Website Edition 2.1.1 established the platform structure used by the current Word Factory build. It expanded navigation, learning references, practice modes and operational interfaces while keeping the primary experience available through browser technologies.

The release record describes the build that shipped on September 9, 2026. Later interface, brand and editorial changes are documented separately so the history remains clear instead of rewriting this page to make the older release appear new.

Platform expansion

The site grew beyond the campaign into more than 200 localized pages across eight interface languages. New destinations included the Learning Center, Factory Life, account views, content-management tools, game rules, guides and language-specific navigation.

Responsive work improved narrow-screen layouts, keyboard behavior, empty states and error messages. The experience remained based on HTML, CSS and JavaScript so the public game and reference pages could run directly in a modern browser.

Learning tools and vocabulary

The broader learning catalog contained approximately 6,200 reference records at this release stage, while the campaign continued to use its separate 1,200-word progression. Nine browser practice modes covered recognition, spelling, listening, definitions and sentence context. Local word-pack tools supported import, editing, preview, publication and export workflows for reviewed content preparation.

Those counts describe different systems and should not be combined into one claim. The campaign bank, reference catalog and later Arcade bank serve different functions.

Factory campaign systems

The campaign included resource collection, four buildable machines, automatic production, letter manufacturing, word orders and meaning checks. Turbo Belts and Smart Sorting added upgrade decisions, while recycling, achievements, a vocabulary journal, weak-word review and five factory maps created a longer progression route.

Quality improvements

The release added clearer failure states for unavailable word data, better keyboard focus handling in modal dialogs and layouts that adapt to smaller screens. These changes reduced dead ends but did not complete every accessibility or device-compatibility requirement.

Known issues at release

Cloud accounts and public community posting were not ready for broad enablement until production data, moderation and child-safety controls were complete. Commercial publication of the campaign vocabulary also required a source-and-license register and educational review. These limitations were retained in the release notes instead of being hidden behind a feature count.

How this page was prepared. The Word Factory editorial team reviewed the current local browser build and the linked game rules on September 26, 2026. Interface behavior described here was checked against the current HTML, JavaScript and Phaser implementation.
