Privacy Policy

Word Factory is designed to let visitors play before creating an account and to minimize personal data.

Information stored on your device

The browser game stores progress, settings, achievements and review history in local storage. This information stays on the device unless you export it or choose account synchronization when that service is available. You can erase it with the in-game reset control or your browser settings.

Information we may receive

If you create an account, we process a username, optional email address, public display name, authentication records, cloud game progress and security logs. If you join the community, we process posts, replies, reports and moderation history. Support messages contain the details you choose to send.

How information is used

We use information to operate the game, save progress, secure accounts, moderate discussions, answer requests, diagnose errors and understand aggregated product performance. We do not sell personal information.

Children

The public game does not require a child to disclose personal information. Account creation and community posting are available only to people who confirm they are at least 13. Players under 13 may use guest mode, which does not require personal information. Do not include a real name, school, address, phone number or other sensitive information in posts.

Retention and choices

Local game data remains until it is reset or browser storage is cleared. Account controls let registered users correct profile information, export account data and request deletion. Deletion immediately removes cloud saves, hides community contributions, revokes sessions and anonymizes the primary account record. Encrypted operational database backups are access-restricted and rotate after 90 days; a deletion may remain in those backups until rotation, unless longer retention is legally required.

Services and transfers

The service uses a dedicated web host and BunnyCDN to deliver pages and static files. MySQL stores account, save, community, support and queued notification records on the application server. Optional analytics remain disabled until the visitor opts in. External email delivery and third-party error monitoring are not currently enabled.

Contact

Privacy questions and requests can be submitted through the contact page. We may verify identity before fulfilling an account-data request.
