Necessary local storage
Word Factory uses local storage for game progress, vocabulary review, achievements, accessibility preferences and imported word packs. This is necessary to resume play on the same device and is not sent to a server by the current guest game.
Account cookies
When account services are enabled, a secure, HttpOnly, SameSite session cookie will keep signed-in users authenticated. Security and anti-forgery values may also be stored for a limited period.
Analytics
Non-essential analytics must not activate until the applicable consent choice has been recorded. Declining analytics will not block the game. Events are designed to avoid free-text input and direct personal information.
Controls
Use the game's Reset Save control to remove game progress, or clear site data in browser settings. Blocking necessary storage prevents progress from persisting between visits.
