Necessary local storage
Word Factory uses local storage for game progress, vocabulary review, achievements, accessibility preferences and imported word packs. This is necessary to resume play on the same device and is not sent to a server by the current guest game.
Account cookies
When account services are enabled, a secure, HttpOnly, SameSite session cookie will keep signed-in users authenticated. Security and anti-forgery values may also be stored for a limited period.
Analytics
The site uses the first-party /collect/ traffic counter once per page. It records the page address, browser language, local time, time zone, referrer and connection address, but does not receive typed words, account details or game saves.
Controls
Use the game's Reset Save control to remove game progress, or clear site data in browser settings. Blocking necessary storage prevents progress from persisting between visits.
