What the game teaches
Word Factory combines spelling, word recognition and meaning checks with a factory-building game. Players collect resources, produce the letters required by an order, submit the completed word and choose its meaning. A correct answer schedules future practice; an incorrect or assisted answer returns sooner.
Choose an appropriate mode
The campaign is designed for longer sessions, while quick games and the daily challenge suit short practice. The current public campaign uses 1,200 English words. The larger reference catalog is a browsing and practice resource, not a claim that every word belongs to a particular school grade.
Use progress as a conversation
Ask the player to explain a new word in their own sentence. The vocabulary journal shows mastered and weak words, but its score is a practice signal rather than a school assessment. Accuracy, confidence and repeated recall matter more than finishing quickly.
Privacy and accounts
The complete game works in guest mode and stores progress in the browser. Accounts are restricted to people aged 13 or older and are used for cloud saves and community participation. Optional analytics remain off until the visitor chooses Allow. They never include typed words, dictionary queries, account details or exported saves.
Healthy play
Agree on a session length, take regular breaks and stop if the activity becomes frustrating. Sound, motion, contrast and text-size controls are available in Game Settings. Exporting a save provides a backup before browser data is cleared.

Use the contact page for vocabulary corrections, accessibility problems, privacy questions or safety concerns. Community posts require an eligible account and enter moderation before public display.
