- Study the visible letters, length and category label.
- Use the on-screen QWERTY keyboard for the first blank.
- Continue through the missing positions from left to right; completed words advance automatically.
- Finish all ten words before time expires. Answer Hint · 50 fills every remaining blank in the current word.
Winning, mistakes and rating
Complete the level
Complete the tenth word before the shared countdown reaches zero. The timer does not reset between words.
Mistakes and failure
Each wrong letter removes one of three chances. The level ends when all chances are used or time expires.
Score and stars
Each correctly entered letter awards 100 points. Hint-filled letters are assisted and award no points. Stars equal the chances remaining.
How the 1,000 levels become harder
Levels 1–1,000 are mapped across 30 gradual difficulty stages. Individual word length and vocabulary difficulty also follow the current level.

| Levels 1–100 | Three-to-five-letter words, one missing edge letter and up to 90 seconds. |
| Levels 101–500 | Longer words, more central blanks and a timer falling toward 60 seconds. |
| Levels 501–800 | Two letters may be missing, words may reach ten letters and time drops through 50 and 45 seconds. |
| Levels 801–1,000 | Up to three positions are hidden with only 40 seconds for the ten-word round. |
